COLLABORATION IN THE FIELD OF SMART FARM DEVELOPMENT AND RESEARCH WITH RENEWABLE ENERGY

On November 28, 2022 y. Dr. Juyeon Oh, Chief Manager of DK Ecofarm Inc. (South Korea) and CEO of MUHAL Lab. Inc. (South Korea) visited the Physical-Technical and Materials Science Institutes of Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences. DK Ecofarm is one of the leading companies on development and implementation of Smart Farming system and technologies in South Korea. MUHAL Lab. Inc. is a partner company of DK Ecofarm Inc., and it deals with development of software for Smart Farming. During her presentations at the Physical-Technical and Materials Science Institutes of Uzbekistan Academy of Sciences, Dr. Juyeon Oh explained in detail about the DK Ecofarm Inc. and its ongoing activities and projects on implementation of Smart Farming systems and technologies in South Korea. She stressed that DK Ecofarm Inc. wants to establish close collaboration with the relevant research institutes and universities in Uzbekistan for the joint research activities and practical realization of the smart farming technologies in Uzbekistan using the renewable energy sources, semiconductor sensors and IOT (Internet of Things) with the final aim of commercialization of these technologies. The Memorandums of understanding between Physical-Technical and Materials Science Institutes and DK Ecofarm Inc. (South Korea) as well as MUHAL Lab. Inc. (South Korea) were signed. Dr. Juyeon Oh also informed that during her stay in Uzbekistan she would visit Almalyk Branch of University of Science and Technologies “MISiS”, Tashkent State Agricultural University, and Kimyo International University in Tashkent to discuss about possibility of opening the joint Bachelor or Master Study Programs between Uzbek and Korean Universities in the field of Smart Farming.
