The Council of Young Scientists of the Physico-Technical Institute of the NGO "Physics-Sun" is a public association of young scientists, doctoral students and basic doctoral students of the Institute.
The Council is called, upon to help the professional development of beginning researchers, their creative growth, and the maximum impact of the scientific potential of young people. In addition, the Council, in every way, contributes to the development of creative activity of young scientists, the formation of their professional maturity, the unification of their efforts to develop priority scientific and applied problems of the country's socio-economic development.
The Council unites young scientists, doctoral students and basic doctoral students of the institute, under the age of 40 years.
The Council involves young scientists in research activities in fundamental and applied areas, relevant for the domestic science, sustainable development of the national economy, the growth of culture and spirituality of the people. The Council facilitates the organization and conduct of interdisciplinary comprehensive scientific research by young scientists, aimed at solving the most important problems of modern science for the republic. To this end, the Council promotes the identification of promising scientific directions, in the study of which it is possible to combine the efforts of young scientists and highly qualified specialists from various sectors of the country's economy.
The Council of Young Scientists of the Physicotechnical Institute of the "Physics-Suns" NGO of the Uzbek Academy of Sciences was established by Order No. 25 of December 22, 2009, and also by Order No. 24 of August 18, 2017, relevant changes were made to the composition of the Council. The approved composition of the SMU of the Physicotechnical Institute consists of 38 young scientists:
The work plan of the FTI for 2017 was agreed with the Council of Young Scientists of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan and approved by the meeting of the Academic Council of the Physico-Technical Institute of the NGO "Physics-Sun" of the Academy of Sciences of January 19, 2017.
Number of young scientists under 40:
Currently, 41 young scientists, under the age of 40, are working at the Physicotechnical Institute, including 6 senior researchers, 14 junior researchers, 9 basic doctoral candidates and 2 independent candidates.
Number of published works by young scientists of the Institute for 2017:
During the reporting period, 34 articles were published with the participation of young scientists of the Institute, including 26 articles in foreign journals and 8 articles in republican magazines. As well as 56 theses of young scientists published in the proceedings of conferences, including 8 international conferences held in countries far abroad and in CIS countries, 48 - republican conferences.
During the reporting period, 2 patents for inventions, 2 patents for utility model were received with the participation of young scientists of the Institute, as well as 2 applications for registration of software products for computers, 1 patent application for industrial design.
Information on youth grants and participation of young scientists in grants:
During the reporting period, three youth projects, one foreign project and one scientific and technical project were successfully completed:

4. M / Uzb-PRC-19/2015 "Investigation of the thermophysical properties of nanofluid heat carriers and their influence on thermal engineering characteristics of low-potential solar installations", project manager - Ph.D. Akhatov Zh.S.

In addition, the young scientists of the Institute actively participate in all projects, performed at the institute, as performers.
Foreign business trips and participation of young scientists in internships:
During the reporting period, 4 young scientists of the Institute participated in overseas business trips: Vohidov A. and Tukfatullin O. - in Japan, Juraev E. - in India, Russia and Kazakhstan.
Number of doctoral dissertations for the year 2017:
During the reporting period, a number of papers were prepared for the defense of the thesis of Ph.D. and Doctor of Science (DSc). 5 young scientists successfully defended themselves and received diplomas. In particular (3 PhD / 2 DSc).
Information on the participation of young scientists of the Institute in innovation fairs.
Young scientists of the Institute actively participated in the 10th Republican Fair of Innovative Ideas, Technologies and Projects in Tashkent and the regions of the country:
- "Monitoring system of electrical parameters of photovoltaic systems (" SMFES-2 ")" -Tukfatullin O. F.
- "Mini-functional thermoelectric generator" - Radzhapov B. S., was awarded a diploma of the third degree.
- "Seasonal accumulation of solar energy in heat supply systems of the Republic of Uzbekistan" - Vohidov A. U., won first place in the nomination for "Best utility model" in the contest "YANGI INTELLEKT-2017", conducted by AIS RUz, and also Komolov I.M. took second place in the nomination for "Best Industrial Design".
Participation of young scientists of the Institute in other activities:
In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, agrees with the order №1-318 of the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan B.S. Yuldashev "On the allocation of cheap mortgage loans to employees of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan", four young scientists of the institute received apartments in new buildings.
The Council organized the work on timely informing young scientists of the Institute about ongoing contests, grants and other projects, as well as providing comprehensive assistance in the effective participation of young scientists in these competitions and grants.
The Council of Young Scientists actively participates in the coverage of the achievements of young scientists of the Institute in the mass media.
