He graduated Tashkent State University with a degree in "Physics of Semiconductor Materials and Devices". T.M. Razykov is an expert of the INTAS Program of the European Union, as well as an editor in several international journals:

Editor of the International Solar Energy Magazine
Editor of the International Journal of Thin Films Science and Technology
Editor of the International Journal of Experimental Physics

And he was also awarded with such diplomas as:
• Pioneer Prize of the World Renewable Energy Network - 2014
• ISES Award for Excellence in the Quality of the Solar Energy Magazine - 2008
• The award for the best article of the World Solar Energy Congress 2007, Beijing, China.
• "Person of the Year 2000" (award of the American Biographical Institute).

Research interests: Physics and technology of thin films A2B6, A1B3C6, A2B4C6, heterostructures and thin-film solar cells based on them.

Publications: 4 monographs, more than 200 scientific works in national and international journals.
