Areas of research: Multiple particle generation and nuclear fragmentation in interactions with nucleons and nuclei at high energies. Collective effects in hadron-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus collisions at high energies.

Publications: S.L. Lutpullaev is a well-known scientist, one of the researcher-leaders in nuclear physics and elementary particles in Uzbekistan. He obtained important and unique results on the properties and regularities of hadrons and nuclei strong interaction dynamics. In co-authorship he published more than 300 scientific works, the main part of which was published in top international scientific journals.
