In 1998 he graduated from the Physics Faculty of Tashkent State University (now the National University of Uzbekistan). In 1999 he graduated from the Physics Department of Manchester University with a Master's degree (MSc). Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (Tashkent, INP, 2006). Since 2016 he is a member of staff of the High Energy Physics Laboratory.

Areas of research: processes of multiple particle generation and nuclear fragmentation in interactions with nucleons and nuclei at high energies, collective effects in hadron-nucleus and nucleus-nucleus collisions at high energies.
Author (and co-author) of more than 30 publications in local and international scientific journals.

Conducts research in high-energy and elementary particle physics.
