Doctor of Technical Sciences
Research area:
a scientist in the field of semiconductor solar cells, known in the Republic of Uzbekistan and abroad. He was born on May 23, 1947 in the Kyrgyz Republic, the city of Jalolobod. In 1970 he graduated from the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute. In 1983, he defended a PhD dissertation, in 1999, a doctor's dissertation.
Tursunov M.N. has so far developed a technology for producing GaAs-based solar cells with an efficiency of up to 22% with a solar radiation concentration of 1-100 AM 1.5 and Si with an efficiency of up to 18%. Developed the technology of manufacturing photoelectric batteries 2-150 W. Photovoltaic installations are completed with electronic control and monitoring units (accumulating systems, inverters and controllers) developed in the laboratory.
Tursunov M.N. supervised the development and manufacture of the following devices and installations for use in scientific and industrial purposes:
Solar charger for charging cell phones, laptops and communication equipment with a capacity of 2 -50 watts.
Photoelectric system for lighting streets and squares of cities and villages, as well as objects.
Photoelectric system for lifting water from wells with depths up to 100 meters.
Phototyte-converting systems with the power of 50-150 W, which allow obtaining simultaneously both electric energy and hot water up to 20 liters per hour with a temperature of up to 60 degrees. Photoelectric power supply system for greenhouses. Autonomous multifunctional mobile photovoltaic system of emergency power supply in force-majeure situations. Portable, autonomous device for determining the concentrations of radon decay products. Portable, stand-alone device, to determine the location of cable damage. Flame monitoring device in industrial furnaces. Portable, autonomous solar incubator with a capacity of 100 eggs. Infrared sensor for use in conveyor lines for bottling liquids.
