Shukrullo Negmatovich Usmonov- senior research fellow, Ph. D in physical and mathematical sciences. He had graduated from Saint Petersburg State University.

Current projects: “Photo-, thermoelectrically and lighting effects in new multicomponent solid solutions with nanocrystals  based on molecules of elementary semiconductors and semiconductor compounds”.

Awarded the prize of the Union of Youth of Uzbekistan for Science and Technology (1995), awarded with medal “Excellent worker in universal compulsory secondary education, professional education” (2004).

Scientific interests: Interaction impurities in dual phase systems of semiconductors solid solution based  on IV-group elements and III-V and II-VI group compounds. Photovoltaic, thermovoltaic, thermophotovoltaic and lighting effects in semiconductor multi-compound solid solutions. Physical principal of synthesis of semiconductor solid solutions based on IV-group elements and III-V and II-VI groups compounds.

Printed 1 collection of papers, more 60 scientific articles, also, 3 teaching aids. He has been scientific supervisor for 2 PhD.
