M. A. Maxmudov is a researcher in the Photoelectronics Laboratory at the S.A. Azimov Physical-Technical Institute, Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 

He has been affiliated with the institute since 1985. His research interests include semiconductor solar cells, photoelectronic device modelling, and solar-thermal energy conversion systems.
