SOLAR ENERGY: Priority research and development trends

December 20-21, 2019

 

On December 20-21, 2019, the First International Scientific and Practical Conference "Solar Energy: Priority Research and Development Trends" will be held at the Physical-Technical Institute of the SPA "Physics-Sun" of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The international conference is held in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan 133-f of February 25, 2019, and the order of the President of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan №18-47 of February 27, 2019, and is dedicated to justifying the place and role of solar energy in the global process development of a new energy system - an environmentally friendly, resource-saving, innovative, intelligent, universally accessible energy supply; discussion of the state and prospects of scientific and technological development of energy system using solar energy; discussing the tasks, methods, experience and prospects for education and the creation of new jobs.

The conference will be held in two forms - presentation and poster presentation

During the conference, competitions to be hold in the nominations: "The best invention", "The best report" and "The best poster report."

Winners will be awarded certificates and mementos.

Total prize fund is 10 million sums.

The main areas of research and practical conference topics:

1. Global and national trends in the development of solar energy:

-the role of solar energy in solving climate and environmental problems;

-policy, strategy, management and marketing of solar energy;

- investments in solar energy, etc.

2. Public awareness and education in the field of solar energy:

- public awareness mechanisms;

-technical and methodological base of education in the field of solar energy in Uzbekistan;

- innovative approaches to the integration of science, education and production; and etc.

3. Scientific and applied issues of solar energy use:

-the use of solar energy in a mini / micro network;

-solar energy to improve the economy of agriculture;

- solar materials science: semiconductors and Nano-materials, etc.

4. Other areas, related to the use of solar energy:

-resources and meteorology;

-concepts for development of "carbon-free" cities;

-application of information communication technologies in solar energy; and etc.

To participate in the work of the scientific-practical conference, the results of the scientific work performed in the last 3 years and related to the subject of the conference are accepted.

The scientific papers submission deadline is October 10, 2019.

The materials of the scientific-practical conference will be published in electronic form (CD and on the website www.fti.uz), as well as selected articles will be published in the International Journal "Geliotechnika" №5 and №6 of 2019.

Participation in the conference for foreign participants is free, but the cost of travel and accommodation during the conference should be covered by the participants themselves.

Requirements for materials:

The materials submitted to the Conference Organizing Committee must comply with the "Requirements of admission and submission of articles" of the International Journal «Geliotechnics», described on the web page:

with the following exceptions:

The volume of the original scientific article (detailed format for presenting the results of a logically completed scientific study) is at least 5 pages, 5–6 figures (figures a, b are considered as two), at least 12 references, at the end of the article information about the authors and the number and name of the project, if this article describes the results obtained in the field of the State or other project.

The valid file format is .doc and .docx.

All materials are checked by the ANTIPLAGIAT system.

Articles that do not meet the requirements and have not passed the examination will not be included in the proceedings of the scientific-practical conference and will not be returned to the authors.
